We are a growing group of founders and CEOs of small and medium businesses who have been unfairly targeted in an apparently indiscriminate policy of blanket rejection by HMRC of historical R&D Tax Credit claims.
The resulting investigations are proving intrusive and damaging, both personally and professionally for many of us.
HMRC is continually refusing to accept that the valid and genuine R&D activities of smaller companies qualify as R&D for tax purposes, thus forcing us to cut investment. Small businesses do not have the resources to fight HMRC through the courts (and they know this). But together, we can share our experiences and support each other.
